The Signature Series Warranty: 10 Years on Structure & Workmanship

Every Allscape Patio Signature Series motorized pergola carries a 10-year warranty on the structure and our installation workmanship, plus 1 year on electronics and automation — with manufacturer material warranties passed through on top. Here are the terms in plain language, because a warranty you can't understand isn't much of a warranty.

WHAT'S ACTUALLY COVERED

Structure, Workmanship, and the Company That Stands Behind Both

The warranty has three layers. First: 10 years on the pergola structure and on Allscape Patio's installation workmanship, measured from the day installation is complete — including the labor to repair any deficiency in our work. Second: 1 year on all electronics and electrical components — lights, motors, motorized louvers, motorized screens, rain sensors, remotes, controllers, wiring, and transformers. Third: manufacturer material warranties still apply to the components we install, so a proven material defect is covered under the manufacturer's terms. What makes this different from a typical pergola purchase is who answers the phone. The company that designed the structure, engineered it for your site, and installed it is the same company that warrants it — one point of accountability, not a manufacturer pointing at a dealer and a dealer pointing back.

Why Workmanship Coverage Is the Part That Matters

Motorized pergolas rarely fail because the aluminum was bad. They fail at the installation layer: footings, anchoring, alignment, drainage routing, and electrical integration. Industry reviews of motorized pergola systems consistently note that the final result depends heavily on the installer and site preparation — which is why a long manufacturer parts warranty, on its own, doesn't protect the part of the project most likely to cause trouble. Our 10-year term covers the workmanship itself.

The Questions to Ask Any Pergola Company About Warranty

Whoever you hire — us or anyone else — ask four questions. Who covers the installation labor if something was built wrong, and for how long? Is the structural coverage from the installer or only from the manufacturer? What happens to coverage if a different company services the unit? And is the warranty in writing before you sign? Manufacturer warranties on catalog pergola systems cover components; installation workmanship coverage varies dealer by dealer, and it is often far shorter than the parts warranty printed in the brochure. The honest comparison is not the biggest number — it is who is contractually responsible for the work itself.

READ THE EXCLUSIONS TOO

What the Warranty Does Not Cover — In Plain Language

Like every outdoor-structure warranty, ours excludes normal wear and cosmetic aging, damage from severe weather events (extreme wind, hail, ice load, lightning, flooding), damage from impacts, modifications or repairs made by anyone other than Allscape Patio, and neglected maintenance. It is non-transferable if the home is sold, and self-installed pergolas carry manufacturer material coverage only — no workmanship warranty, because we didn't do the work. We would rather you read this before signing than discover it after; the complete terms document is part of every contract.

ONE POINT OF ACCOUNTABILITY

Designed, Engineered, Installed & Warranted by One Company

The Signature Series is available only inside an Allscape Patio design-build project — which is precisely why the warranty can cover workmanship for a decade. We specified the structure, engineered it for your site's loads, poured the footings, ran the integration, and installed the system. There is no gap between the company that built it and the company that answers for it.

WHAT WE BUILD

The Coverage at a Glance

Three layers of protection on every Allscape-installed Signature Series motorized pergola, effective from the date installation is complete.

Structure & Workmanship — 10 Years

The pergola structure and Allscape Patio's installation workmanship, including the labor to repair any deficiency in our work — for a full decade from installation completion.

Electronics & Automation — 1 Year

Lights, motors, motorized louvers and screens, rain sensors, remotes, controllers, wiring, and transformers — covered for one year from installation completion, serviced by the team that installed them.

Manufacturer Material Coverage

Components we install remain covered by their manufacturers' material warranties — a proven material defect is handled under the manufacturer's terms, and we manage that conversation for you.

FAQ

Signature Series Warranty — Frequently Asked Questions

Plain answers about what the warranty covers, what it excludes, and how it compares to a typical dealer-installed pergola warranty.

What warranty comes with an Allscape Signature Series motorized pergola?

Ten years on the pergola structure and Allscape Patio's installation workmanship, and one year on all electronics and electrical components — both measured from the date installation is complete. Manufacturer material warranties on installed components apply in addition.

How is this different from a StruXure or Azenco dealer warranty?

Manufacturer warranties on catalog systems like StruXure and Azenco cover the product's components — and they are legitimate warranties from established brands. The difference is scope: installation workmanship coverage on a dealer-installed system depends on the individual dealer and is often much shorter than the parts warranty. The Signature Series warranty covers the structure and the workmanship together for 10 years, from the single company that designed, engineered, and installed the project.

What does the warranty exclude?

Normal wear and cosmetic aging; damage from severe weather events such as extreme wind, hail, ice loads, lightning, or flooding; impact damage; modifications or repairs performed by anyone other than Allscape Patio, which void the warranty; and issues resulting from neglected homeowner maintenance. Consumables like bulbs, batteries, and homeowner-supplied fixtures are also excluded.

Is the warranty transferable if I sell my home?

No. The warranty applies to the original customer and terminates if the property is sold or transferred — a standard term for installed outdoor structures. Prospective buyers of a home with a Signature Series pergola are welcome to contact us about an inspection or service relationship.

Do manufacturer warranties still apply on top?

Yes. Components we install remain covered by their manufacturers' material warranties. If a material is proven defective, it is handled under the manufacturer's terms — and Allscape Patio manages that determination directly with the manufacturer rather than leaving you to argue it alone.

Does a self-installed or another contractor's pergola get any coverage?

Pergolas not installed by Allscape Patio carry no workmanship warranty from us — manufacturer material coverage may still apply, but installation-related issues like misaligned beams, stripped fasteners, or electrical failures are not covered, and technical support is not included for self-installed units. The workmanship warranty exists because we control the workmanship.

How do I make a warranty claim?

Contact Allscape Patio directly — the same company that installed the pergola handles the claim. The remedy is repair or replacement of the defective component. Full written terms accompany every contract, so what you read here is what you sign.
